2026 Rules

Safety first!
-
Physical presence at sign up is not required, but communication with Hunter Bender is requested. Upon notice of remote sign up a signed waiver and payment must be received before being considered as signed up.

All state and federal laws and regulations must be followed.

All turkeys must be harvested during the legal time frame of the Missouri youth spring turkey season.

Winning teams animals may be subject to inspection
-
Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified and banned.

The official scale and measuring tape will be the one at final check in. all weights and lengths are final.

Each participant may only enter 1 bird for scoring.
-
Responsible party and youth can hunt on any property as privileged to do so.

Tournament Representatives hold the right to disqualify any turkey they have reason to suspect has been killed outside of the Spring Youth Turkey season.

Final check-in begins on April 12th at 8pm CST. Each youth that has a bird for scoring must be present and accounted for. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

​Youth are allowed to enter the main tournament event and subsequently all side pots by satisfying all entry fee requirements.

All birds must be tagged and telechecked prior to final check-in scoring.

The tournament will consist of 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winners depending on the official NWTF scoring system. Any feature of a bird harvested not attached cannot be scored. there will be no ties in the overall scoring tournament. Tie breaker will be largest spur. A tournament representative will score the birds and determine the winners at Final check-in. All Scores are FINAL.
